Brand New UN-used Replacement Carbon Brush kit for Viair Stealth Black Air compressors. Viair part number CBC-04002.

This is a direct replacement carbon brush for these Viair part number black air compressors.

380C Black - 38036

400C Black - 40048

444C Black - 44442

480C Black - 48042

Carbon brush replacement kit comes with thermal overload protection circuit, to protect compressors from burning due to high Amp draw resulting into excessive heat. 

Important Notes: 

• This carbon brush comes with 12 AWG Red & Black Color wires with ring terminal as well as the female crimp terminals.
• Use a heavy duty, good quality thick copper wire (4 AWG) with a proper Amp inline fuse 20 -24 inches from the main battery pressure switch & relays.
  
• Use the wiring diagrams based on the 40 AMP OR 80 AMP relays. Use the wire size chart based on the total distance from the main battery & the total Amp draw of your air compressors.

Items Included:

• 1 Ct Stealth Black Air Compressor Carbon Replacement Brush Kit W/ wires with ring (black wire, ground) and spade female terminals (red, Power wire).
• Comes with a gasket & bearing pre-installed on it.
• Does not come with any screws or bolts.

Basic Instructions For Assembly:

• Dis-assemble the crank case assembly.
• After removing the crank case you will see 2 long bolts. These are long bolts to hold the carbon brushes at the back side of compressor.
• Use a flat head screw driver to push one of the carbon brushes to side and then push this assembly on to the shaft. Make sure that carbon brushes have enough clearance to go on each side of motor shaft without damaging the carbon brushes.
• Use the long bolts to screw the carbon brush plate assembly to the compressor back end.
• Assemble the rest of compressor with all gaskets removed from it while dis-assembling it.
